Moto Iron 2.1 Gallon Wassell-Style Mid Tunnel Frisco-Style Fuel Tank

The classic appeal of a Wassell-type tank is partially due to the classic look that lends itself well to a variety of mounting options and build styles.

  • Undrilled mounting tabs
  • Bungs for two 1/4" NPT petcocks (available separately)
  • Accepts bayonet-style (cam-lock) fuel cap; not included
  • 14-1/2" L Ɨ 9" W Ɨ 7-1/2" H
  • 17" tab-to-tab
  • 3-1/2" deep tunnel
  • 2-3/8" wide tunnel

Though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, pressure testing before applying filler or paint is standard practice. If needed, you may elect to seal with aĀ tank sealerĀ before painting. For the same reason, we encourage thorough, solid mountingā€”stress on the tank or mounting hardware will eventually lead to cracks.
