Harley uses a fairly specific size star bit—the 27—in many places. It sits between the 25 and 30 commonly included in most tool sets. While the 25 often feels like it fits, it doesn't fit well and usually slips with the application of even modest torque, leading to fastener damage and stripped heads. Use the right tool for the job to confidently service your machine.
