Harley uses a fairly specific size star bit—the 27—in many places. It sits between the 25 and 30 found in many common tool sets, and while the 25 often fits, it doesn't fit well and usually slips with the application of even modest torque, leading to fastener damage and stripped heads. Use the right tool for the job to confidently service your machine.
