If you haven't yet pulled your bike apart, bikes that use this kit also use a judder spring in the middle of the clutch pack. The brass rivets that retain it are prone to wearing and coming loose. Rather than replacing it, installing one extra plate and steel is a longstanding mechanical upgrade.
