Moto Iron 2.4 Gallon Sportster Gas Tank for 1995-2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster

  • Tunnel height tapers from 4-1/2" at the front of the tank to 1" at the rear

Made as a pattern replacement for the last generation of solid-mount Sporties, this fuel tank mounts in stock positions on sportsters and also adapts well to most customs.

Though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, pressure testing before applying filler or paint is standard practice. If needed, you may elect to seal with a tank sealer before painting. For the same reason, we encourage thorough, solid mounting—stress on the tank or mounting hardware will eventually lead to cracks.
