2004-2013 Harley-Davidson Sportsters use a transversely-mounted master cylinder that sits across the frame.

Due to this, provisions must be made for rear brake master cylinder mounting and actuation. The factory master cylinder isn't beautiful because it's tucked out of sight. Rather than try to reuse a master cylinder that's a little lacking in the looks department, you can snag this kit. It converts your bike to use the far-more-common (and aesthetically pleasing) 1987-to-2003-Sportster-type master cylinder.

In addition to including a weld-on plate and the correct mounting hardware, a linkage is included so you can reuse OEM mid controls or OEM forward controls, or easily integrate a set of our mid controls to your chop project—you choose.
