CE-320 rectifying regulator for 1989-1998 Harley-Davidson Touring, Dyna, and FXR motorcycles
Cycle Electric's CE-606 rectifying regulator provides a smoother charge to the battery than shunt-style regs. This translates to longer battery and stator life and less stress placed upon the sensitive electronics that control your late-model motorcycle. Unlike shunt-style regulators that dump current to the ground to control voltage on Harley-Davidson alternators, Cycle Electric rectifying regulators block current to control the voltage.
This design reduces stator current (and heat!) resulting in less strain on the electrical components—and the motor, so you'll free up a little power, too. This reg is specifically designed as a replacement for OEM P/N 74519-88 in Big Twins with a 32A charging system. And like all Cycle Electric products, this is proudly made in Ohio, USA.
Fitment (direct bolt-in):
- 1989-1996 Harley-Davidson FL/FLT (except fuel injected models)
- 1989-1998 Harley Davidson FXR/FXD
Fitment notes:
- This CE-320 is a standard-charge regulator. For the specially-tuned low-voltage model made for the battery in the Softail's horseshoe oil tank, please use TC Bros. P/N 108-0131.
