TC Bros. 12.6" Oversized Rear Floating Brake Rotor for 2000-Up Harley-Davidson Wheels

If you're re-engineering your brake system for maximum stopping ability, an oversized disc is a natural starting point.

  • Larger-than-stock rotor for custom brake applications; this is the missing link between sport-derived calipers and Harley-Davidson wheels
  • Choice of styles
  • Premium high carbon, heat treated 420 stainless steel friction surface provides durability and corrosion resistance
  • Laser cut—not stamped—to reduce warping and distortion caused by residual part stresses
  • Precision-ground for optimal brake pad engagement
  • CNC-machined billet aluminum carrier is strong, lightweight, and anodized for corrosion resistance
  • Full floating design maintains disc alignment under braking and reduces heat transfer from friction material to carrier
  • Riveted stainless buttons have more positive retention than c-clips and won't transfer heat to the carrier like aluminum fasteners
  • Stainless steel disc spring washers permit the friction surface to float without rattlingĀ
  • Hardware (available separately) is required for many Harley-Davidson applications and strongly recommended for all Harley-Davidson motorcycles
  • Stringent manufacturing processes yield high-performance, precision braking feel
  • Sold individually

A TC Bros. 12.6" rear floating brake rotor is an obvious starting point for a custom brake system. A larger rotor gives better leverage to the caliper and increases the swept area in contact with the pads. If you want better braking feel, aggressive stopping, and modern, fresh style for your bike, a floating rotor can deliver. Our bimetallic design yields the best of both worlds—a swept area that hangs tough under aggressive stopping and a carrier that prevents heat transfer. And if you like wheelies? Well, we don't need to tell you how important the rear brake is.

This rotor, a 12.6" unit, is maybe better known by its metric designation of 320mm. If that number sounds familiar, that's because it's a common size found on the large metric sport machines fitted with 17" wheels. This disc is explicitly for Harley-Davidson riders who need a disc that's compatible with a Harley wheel but are upgrading to a sport bike or race-rep caliper. The diameter and offset is perfect for use with one ofĀ our brake brackets and a Brembo caliper. They'll also work well with popular Tokico swaps.

Choose from a standard floater or our Profileā„¢ design. The waves on the perimeter of those bring a little flair to your bike and help provide greater cooling with increased surface area. The non-directional design on whatever rotor you select is equally at home on either side of the swingarm—great for Sporties or Big Twins.

  • 2000-Up Harley-Davidson rear wheels
  • Not a direct bolt-in to any known OE motorcycle; modification required to caliper, mount, and/or master cylinder and brake hose(s)
  • An adapter for use on 1984-1999 rear wheels with 5-on-3.25" spacing is included, but this rotor will not clear stock calipers on those applications and can only be used if provisions for relocating the caliper are made
  • 116-0142 Profileā„¢
