Many riders wish to increase ride height but like the single shock's suspension characteristics. Gain some ground clearance with this lift kit/shock extension. Let's be real: sometimes a motorcycle's just too low, especially if you like dragging pegs and boards through the turns. Pick the tail of your Softail up for modest money with this shock extension. 

Installation does require removal of the shock and compression of the spring using a specialized tool; please review the instructions to help ensure you can perform the task safely.

Softails ship with two rear ride heights dependent on submodel; "short" bikes can use either extension based on rider preference. If you have a "tall" bike, only the shorter extension may be used; the factory already used some of the available additional suspension travel. Please review the fitment notes to ensure you're receiving an extension that is compatible with your motorcycle.

Both extensions feature a precision needle bearing in place of the factory rubber bushing to reduce suspension stiction. The elimination of rubber bushings also removes the accompanying noise and ponderous feeling that can occur when bushings wear out.
