Mid-USA 12V Generator for 1965-1984 Harley-Davidson

If your generator has called it quits, get your lights and fire back with this new-build (no cores) genny.

  • 12V
  • Black finish
  • Bare generator; genny drive gear, shims, oil deflector, and gasket not included
  • Uses late-style 5/16"-24 mounting holes

Fitment (direct bolt-in):

  • 1965-Early 1984 Harley-Davidson Sportster
  • 1965-1969 Harley-Davidson Big Twin
  • 1965-1973 Harley-Davidson Servi-Car

Fitment notes for non-direct applications:

  • The bolt pattern on Harley generators is the same on all years, but ¼-24 thread inserts (not included) need to be installed into the generator to use on 1957-and-earlier machines or you can modify your right engine case to accept the larger hardware
  • This charging system can be run without a battery but it is not recommended
  • Gasket, paper shims, gears, deflectors, roll pins, mounting hardware, and cradle are not included
  • If you are converting a 6V motorcycle to 12V, you will need an extensive list of parts including bulbs, battery, and ignition coil
  • This generator may require polarizing (flashing)
  • 108-0050; replaces 17001, 108-0124, DGV-5000, 29975-65A, DS-195101, DS195105, 32-0967, 32-7526
