TC Bros. Extra Narrow Triple Tree Set for 1988-2003 Harley Davidson 39mm Narrowglide w/ 3/4" Axle

TC Bros. extra-narrow triple trees are the best way to turn a set of factory Harley-Davidson 39mm forks into a super-skinny chopper fork end. 

  • Show-quality clamps CNC-machined from 1-1/4" thick 6061-T6 billet aluminum 
  • Extra narrow design sets fork tubes at 5.595" center-to-center
    • Over 1-3/8" narrower than stock
  • Standard Harley 3-1/2" handlebar riser spacing is maintained
  • 1" steering stem precision CNC-machined for a perfect fit to your factory H-D neck
    • Stem fastener is dome-top hex head; eliminates the awkward-appearing, bulky stock cover
  • Includes 3/4" narrow axle specific to this tree set and wheel spaceror a perfect fit to the Moto Iron® #115-0028 or #115-0073 spool hub wheels that we also sell. Axle and spacer are zinc plated for corrosion resistance. 
  • Approximately 3-3/4" finished width between fork sliders for tire clearance.
  • Lower triple tree is drilled and tapped for two items to make your install simple
    • Internal fork stops; it's expected you'll use the high-quality Pro 1 internal stop
      • Other internal stops may or may not work depending on design
      • External stops can be used if you fabricate 'em
    • Headlamp mount to accept most bottom-mount aftermarket headlights
  • Proudly made in the USA by skilled craftsmen
  • Detailed mounting instructions and high quality hardware included

These are the perfect finishing touch to your custom chopper build and look good on everything from Knucks to Sportsters and everything in between.

  • These trees will not work in conjunction with front brakes; spool hub wheel is mandatory
  • Included axle and spacer are machined to use the Moto Iron spool hub wheels offered for sale separately
  • All stock models will require internal fork stops or custom-fabricated external stops; trees are not compatible with any factory Harley-Davidson fork stops; we recommend purchasing the Pro 1 stop offered (sold separately)
  • These trees are specifically designed to work in conjunction with most components from 1988-2003 Harley-Davidson 39mm narrowglide front ends found on Sportster, Dyna, and FXR; a donor front end (or suitable aftermarket equivalent parts) are required of your motorcycle is not from this era

These trees fit frame neck tubes on nearly all conventional 1936-2017 Harley-Davidson Big Twin and 1982-2003 Harley-Davidson Sportsters when the proper modifications are performed:

  • 1936-1948 Big Twins will require conversion from 1" ball-bearing-type cups to late 1" tapered-roller cups and bearings
  • 1949-1984 Big Twin requires no special preparation
  • 1985-2017 FXR, Softail, and Dyna require no special preparation
  • Does not fit 1984-Up Touring or Trike
  • 1977-1981 Sportster requires conversion from 15/16" tapered-roller cups and bearings to late 1" tapered-roller cups and bearings
  • 1957-1977 Sportster requires conversion from 7/8" ball bearing cups and bearings to late 1" tapered-roller cups and bearings
  • 1982-2003 Sportster requires no special preparation
