Cycle Electric stators are known for their ability to withstand temperatures of up to 600 degrees, helping to prevent stator burnout. They also provide improved low-speed output, reducing battery discharge when idling. Additionally, these stators feature thinner insulation, so even though they can withstand higher temperatures, they are able to better shed heat into the primary oil, resulting in longer service life. They feature upgraded plugs that are resistant to swelling and separation.
Cycle Electric's rectifying regulators provide a smoother charge to the battery than shunt-style regs. This translates to longer battery life and less stress on the system itself. Unlike shunt-style regulators that dump current to the ground to control voltage on Harley-Davidson alternators, Cycle Electric rectifying regulators block current to control the voltage.
