Drag Specialties Flat Side Gas Tanks (5 Gallon) for Harley-Davidson Four-Speed Big Twin and Softail 1984-1999

Need a fresh set of flatside tanks? These are the ones to get. Easy on the wallet, this set of tanks is perfect for restoration of an old friend or a fresh build on many of the popular aftermarket Softail-pattern frames.

  • Flatside-style tanks
  • Accepts stock dash and speedometer
  • Accepts 22mm petcocks
  • 5 gallon capacity
  • Accepts screw-in style fuel caps
    • These use the 1982-and-newer style vented and non-vented caps
  • Sold as a set of two tanks

TC Bros. strongly recommends fitting these tanks to the frame before final finish. Mounts and mating components may need to be shimmed or adjusted. After that, we recommend pressure testing before applying body filler and painting—that's standard practice in motorcycle shops to ensure there's no re-doing the job.

These tanks are "in the white," meaning raw steel, so it's likely they will display some surface rust upon receipt since these are not sold as ready-to-install.
