TC Bros. Featured Customer Ride - Kyle MacNeil
TC Bros. Customer Rides – a series dedicated to the fabrication ingenuity and creativity of our customers and featuring their rides they've shared with us.
Sent to us from Kyle MacNeil of Cartier, Ontario, Canada.
In his own words:
"I'm Kyle, from Cartier, Ontario, Canada. A mechanic by trade but a builder by passion. Building bobbers and anything else my mind can come up with. I wanted to share my 1977 Yamaha XS650 "Heineken" bobber. Parts used for this build were mostly purchased (80%) from TC Bros. which included the hardtail (amazing product), the quick wiring harness provided by your company which made the electrical set up a breeze. The bike also included body parts, seat, lighting and forward control set up (again, amazing product).
However, I had to purchase the battery box at the local beer store and go to the trouble of drinking it... lol. The mini Heineken keg is a fully functional battery box and also contains all my electrical and ignition system. It was a tight squeeze but using a small lithium 12volt battery, it was do-able. The bike is kick-start only. I opted for this option so I could use the smaller battery and no electric start. The 15" ape hangers and forward controls make it a comfortable fit to ride. Once again I would like to thank TC Bros. for the quality parts and ease of use. Keep up the great work guys!
Thanks again for all your parts and we are looking forward to our future builds with parts purchased from TC Bros. We have spread the good word about the quality and service you provide, and look forward to working with you in the future."
