TC Bros. Featured Customer Ride - Ike Jahnke
TC Bros. Customer Rides – a series dedicated to the fabrication ingenuity and creativity of our customers and featuring their rides they've shared with us.
Sent to us from Ike Jahnke of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
In his own words:
1976 Yamaha XS650 Bobber
"It took my Dad and I about 2 years to build this bike in our spare time in the home shop. We did all the painting and fab work with the exception of buying a TC Bros. hardtail that we welded on. The bike started as a bone-stock ‘76 Yamaha XS 650. Some of the modifications: lengthened and shaved forks, removed the front brake, Sportster tank, Harley oil tank that contains the battery and electrics, 16" rear wheel and the front fender became the rear fender. The paint is red metalflake.
The bike runs and drives great and it was a good way to spend some quality time in the shop."
