“The bike is a reflection of me: a little older, a little crazy, not perfect, started out a little rough, but smoothed out a little later.
Began with a TC Bros. hardtail and then added their fake oil tank/ battery box kit, kick stand, and regulator/rectifier. Inspired old tradition and Fong Bros who donated the hard-to-find, black rubber plugs on the XS1 front drum brake that I laced to an 18" rear rim. That allowed me to run the fat Firestone's front and back.
It has a TX750 headlight, Cole Foster tank, Power Piston Tail light, Ballistic battery, 30's Ford spare tire fender, custom stainless exhaust, custom stainless 2-into-1 intake with Lectron carb, custom points covers from guy in Japan. A neighbor made the handle bars, rephased to a 750 for a little attitude, Pamco ignition, PMA alternator and 5th gear overdrive. I did the Punisher on the oil cover. Bike has been preserved natural with "Sharkhide" (love the stuff).
The bike is located in Queen Creek, Arizona where I can ride pretty much all year round - July and August can get a little toasty.
